The derived attar has in it aphrodisiac properties that helps in increasing vitality as well as creates strong protective energy against disturbing influences. Further, this attar is also used in headaches as well as for getting relief from heavy head feeling. The attar is also used in water that is used for worshipping Lord Krishna.

History
Jasmine was originated in India and cultivated in the northern part of Himalayan valleys. Since the ancient time, Jasmine has been considered as the 'queen of flowers'. In the 1400s, Jasmine was planted for kings of Afghanistan, Nepal and Persia. Moreover, the plant was introduced into Britain in the latter part of the 17th century.
